"I'm an investigator with the Monterey County District Attorney's Office assigned to a case with multiple charges involved. I reached out to MPD in search of assistance to locate the victim in the case, who is unhoused. I was fortunate enough to be put in contact with an officer who located the victim so that I can serve him a subpoena in this case. This case was confirmed for trial and I was again tasked with locating the victim. I reached out to the same officer. Once again, he was able to get me in contact with the victim so that the Deputy District Attorney could meet and prepare for trial. I am grateful for the officer's assistance on both occasions and wanted to express my gratitude for his partnership and professionalism. This officer did so with such a positive attitude and willingness to locate the victim."

"I just want to express my heart felt thanks to MPD who were kind enough to find my car which I forgot where I had parked near Calle Principal due to my carelessness. I walked around nearly 3 hours in search of my car to no avail. On a last resort, I phoned 911 from McDonald's. An officer showed up and found my car and drove me to where my car was. Thank you so much! I'll be more careful."

"I really applaud the way MPD approached a situation with a homeless man. If there were more officers like them, the world would be so much more peaceful. You all went above and beyond to make sure you offered that gentleman any help that you could. Sometimes just showing you care before you judge someone, that speaks highly of character. Good job. My relationship with officers always led to a much negative result but you all did it right, thank you!"
